Shipping Charges: If shipping is NOT charged during checkout, please Contact Lightravels® for a quote, as international shipping rates vary.
Note: Duty/VAT/tax is not included in any international shipping charges. Customers outside of the U.S. are responsible to pay their country's duty/VAT/tax at time of FedEx delivery.
We offer a 6 month limited warranty on our light box components from the date of purchase. Should your map not light up correctly during the 6 months, and it is determined that this was not due to abuse or neglect, we will send you the appropriate replacement parts at no charge. The frame, shadow box and pegs are not included in the warranty, except should you receive your item damaged during shipping. Please see Return Policy above for instructions on damaged goods.
We accept returns or exchanges if you are not satisfied with your order. Please read below for rules, exceptions and miscellaneous information.
Call Lightravels®, LLC within 7 days from receipt of your order to obtain our Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), along with shipping instructions. Unauthorized returns will be refused.
Freight charges will not be refunded.
Custom orders may not be refunded, returned or exchanged.
You are responsible for return freight and insurance. We strongly recommend that you ship via UPS or FedEx and please insure your return, as we are not responsible for return shipping damages or loss.
Our map and all accessories & literature must be returned to Lightravels®, LLC within 7 days from receiving your RMA from us. Please use the original carton(s) and all packing materials (bubble wrap, foam corners, etc) you received your product in.
NOTE: If you removed the shrink wrap from around the map, you must add bubble wrap in it's place, in order to protect the front of the map and frame. Be sure to fully protect the front of map!
Products must arrive in brand new condition and must not have any punched holes in the map from the light pegs or any other object.
Upon receipt of the returned product we will:
Send out the item for exchange or issue a refund, less the shipping charges. All refunds will be paid either by Lightravels®, LLC check, and mailed to you within 2 weeks from receipt of returned product, or a credit issued on your credit card. There is a 20% restocking fee for returned products, which will be deducted from your refund.
Items received as gifts may be returned for a full store credit, not including the original or return shipping charges.
NOTE: In the event your product was DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING, we will replace your item immediately (upon receipt of your returned, damaged map) at no additional charge to you. Call first please for RMA and shipping instructions! Please note that you are required to properly repackage the map (using all polyfoam corners, both shipping boxes, and if the shrink wrap was opened, then to add bubble wrap all along the front of the map) when returning it. Should the map come back to us with more damage than when you received it, and we determine the cause was due to improper re-packaging on your part, then we will charge 20% - 50% of the map cost to cover the extra damage sustained.

In this instance, Lightravels®, LLC collects personally identifiable information about you such as name, address, phone number and/or e-mail address. However, Lightravels®, LLC does not share any customer personal information with ANY third-parties. What this means is that your personal information will not be shared or sold to other companies or websites - EVER.
